THE OLD FRONTIER IS OPEN FOR ALL YOUTH GROUPS AND CORPORATE OUTINGS
The Old Frontier is a God given, Jesus glorifying, Holy Spirit led outreach facility, established in 2004. The facility consists of a Cowboy Church, Day camps, annual Emu Fest Youth Rally, Annual pro Rodeo, Horse shows, Barrel racing, Matthew 25 Ministries and Jabez Academy.
The Old Frontier offers private corporate retreats, company picnics, birthday parties, youth camps, primitive camping, church retreats, family reunions, and horseback riding lessons. For further information or to book your event please call, Chris Smith at 706-533-2544.

The Old Frontier is open for all Youth Groups and Corporate outings. The Old Frontier is an 85-acre campsite located in the countryside of east-central Georgia. The campsite is being designed for a rustic getaway back to nature and participate in an era of historic days. Everyone blessed with the opportunity to experience this great adventure will become closer with nature and all the wonders it has to offer. Breathing fresh country air, counting stars by campfire light, bonding with new friends - both human and animal - and exploring winding nature trails will be forever embedded in each participant’s mind after spending time at The Old Frontier.
Lodging will consist of Tee Pees equiped with hammocks for sleeping.. Another area will be designated for primitive camping, also there are 6 RV sites with water,sewer and electric . A bath house with modern conveniences will be located near the bunkhouses.
There will be an Indian Village with a dig area seeded with artifacts prior to every camp session. This will provide every participant with the opportunity to find a treasure. An archery range will also be located in the Indian Village.
A gem mining area complete with mining plumes and seeded dirt, will provide participants with the opportunity to step back in history and encounter nature.
A pavilion will allow participants to gather as groups. The pavilion will also be used as a stage to showcase one-act plays, talent time, and/or singing performances. Catered concessions will be located beside the pavilion.
A low-ropes and team-building obstacle course will provide training in self-confidence and unity.
A 3/4 mile bike trail will wind through the rolling meadows for mountain bike enthusiasts. Hiking trails will also exist throughout the campsite.
Two small lakes will be fully stocked with fish, allowing the opportunity for every youth the thrill of becoming an experienced fisherman..
Modern recreation facilities will also be available, including a volleyball and badminton area, and an 6-hole miniature golf course.
A craft building will be on-site.
